The acronym "NEET" stands for Not in Employment, Education or Training.

The definition applies to anyone who isn't currently involved in one of these activities. The condition of being NEET is often associated with:

• Hikikomori = being a shut-in with no social activity
• VIPPER = to be a true VIPPER, one shall spend all time on the Internets to find new VIP material.
